The Center for Service-Learning and Civic Engagement (CSLCE) coordinates this invaluable program which has generated more than 3 million hours of community service since it started 30 years ago. Students: Learn by Volunteering in the Community
Students who participate in Service-Learning can use skills learned in the classroom to impact their local communities. Plus real-world experience and service hours on academic transcripts will give students an added advantage when they enter the workforce. Students who document at least 75 hours of service and have at least a 2.5 GPA are also eligible to apply for an annual Service-Learning scholarship.
